Responsabilities
- It carries out the activity of selling transport and warehousing services by managing a portfolio of customers that it is continuously developing;
- Based on customer requests, the forwarder concludes contracts for internal/external/international road transport of goods, monitors their execution and the achievement of the monthly target;
- Analyses transport orders received from customers, checks the routes and confirms orders to customers;
- Respond operationally with competitive transport solutions to customer requests or local and international partners;
- Contacts potential new international transport customers and presents the services offered by the company, takes orders quoting at maximum capacity level, negotiates transport rates with customers;
- Follow up the stabilization of relations with newly identified customers or partners;
- Identifies transport solutions (routes, means of transport, cargo loading plan), informs clients about the transport process;
- Informs customers on the provision of transport and related services (storage, insurance, customs formalities, etc.);
- Collaborates closely with other shippers in the organisation in order to increase the volumes handled by the company and maximise operational efficiency by consolidating several consignments in the same means of transport;
- Tracks the execution of transport and related services, checks transport documents, follows up orders executed until receipt;
- Supervision of shipments: in/out of warehouse, organisation of the necessary procedures for the return of goods;
- Issue orders in internal software.
Responsabilities
- To load and unload goods arriving at Eltra Logis SRL warehouse;
- Not to exceed the maximum speed allowed when using the forklift;
- To fill in the C.M.R.s and write in the remarks section any irregularity observed;
- Multiplicate the CMR, one copy will be made available to the driver and one copy will be filed in the binder for the documents of entry of goods into the warehouse;
- Hands over to the driver, in addition to the completed, dated, signed and stamped CMR, all the documents relating to the consignment of goods made available by the Logistics Department: packing list, dispatch note and any other documents that must reach the consignee and communicates all the additional instructions that the driver must comply with in order to carry out the transport order accurately, as transmitted by the Logistics Department;
- Check that the CMR is signed and stamped in the appropriate box for the carrier, thus confirming that the goods have been taken over without objection;
- Scans the barcode with the Datalogic mobile terminal (“pistol”) in order to keep a record of the management of the products in the warehouse, using the WMS software;
- List the labels in the WMS program and stick them on the CMRs, the label listed in the program, in order to deliver the goods;
- Compares and verifies that the data in the CMR matches the data in the program;
- Ensures integrity and security of goods;
- At the end of the shift, prepares an activity report according to the work procedure.
